Suit Filed In Case Of Boy Killed While Snorkeling

The parents of a teenager accused in the death of a six-year-old boy in a Memorial Day boating accident in Key West are being sued.

The parents of Charlie Smith have filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the parents of 13-year-old Christopher Ruiz. He currently faces vessel homicide charges in Key West. A hearing is scheduled for July 24th.
