More Last Minute Gift Ideas for the Boater in Your Life

By Ed Sweeney

An update to my post of 23 DEC 04.

More gift ideas for the boater in your life include:

  • A hand held Global Positioning System(GPS), to help them detrmine their position.
  • RADAR, especially for those who routinely boat in conditions with restricted visibility.
  • An anit-exposure suit and/or a dry suit, espcially if they boat dutring the off seaon when the water tempretures are cold (below 50 degrees F).
  • Plenty of dock lines and fenders to help protect the boat, as well as prevent the crew from using their hands and feet to fend off when apporaching the dock.
