On March 1, 2006 we attended the Coast Guard hearings on the sinking of the Tug Valour.
Linked above is a good article from the St. Petersburg Times on the hearings and testimony. The article (like others by Steve Huettel) have been thorough, and well written.
Current plans are to bring the Tug Valour up and the Coast Guard plans to conduct further investigation after she is raised. A final report is due in the summer of this year.
The crew's testimony at hearing was both compelling and sad.
