10,000 tonnes of coal hit by fire on cargo ship (EveningTimes Online) SCOTS fire crews today fought a blaze on a cargo ship packed with 10,000 tonnes of coal. The fire broke out in one of the holds of the ship docked at Hunterston port in North Ayrshire.
